Hello.. Up for bid is a Beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Two Door Hardtop! This is a true Bel Air and the desired two door non-post model! Finished in gorgeous GM Red exterior with two-tone silver and black factory styled interior this is a nice older restoration that still shows beautiful! This is a two owner car from new, the previous owner has had it for nearly 50 years!! It was refinished nearly 20 years ago and he took it to shows and truly enjoyed it. It has been well kept, cared for and maintained. It is powered by a healthy ZZ350 CID Crate V8 Engine, 700R4 Overdrive Automatic Transmission and a street friendly rear end! This car does 70 MPH at just 2200 RPM. You can drive it and enjoy it, including highway cruises and road trips. It runs excellent and sounds awesome in person with a great rumble. This car floats down the road very comfortable and handles straight. The brakes stop great as they should. It is riding on a nice set of chrome Cragar wheels with Firestone Tires. It has upgraded heads, headers, MSD Ignition, 4BBL carb with aluminum intake, dual exhaust system with 'cherry bombs' and much more! It is estimated about 400 Horsepower and you feel it, this car has great power. This car gets attention and compliments everywhere it goes. The beautiful color combination sets it off nicely and the paint shines like a mirror. The body looks straight and solid. The car has been driven and enjoyed so there is a few small chips touched up and body has some small blemishes you may notice up close as expected of a classic car. Overall it shows great and is ready to take to your shows and cruises. The chrome and stainless was mostly replaced, the front grille surround and front bumper shows some age up close. The lights all work, gauges work nice, wipers work, radio is still original and currently not working. The previous owner would rather hear the motor rumble and i agree:) The interior was also refinished and shows very nice. The seats look great and original correct style, headliner has no rips, door panels present good and dash was repainted and refinished to match. The seats are very comfortable as well! The trunk is solid and right, engine compartment shows beautiful, underside looks solid. I believe the floors were patched at one time, the frame is very solid. Overall this is a great show cruiser, driver quality - not a trailer queen. It was redone to drive and enjoy but still look great doing so.
