Up for sale is a 1964 Chevy Corvette
The car has a clean NJ title in my name. The car has beenstored for a very long time and has not been on the road since purchased (hasbeen in my family since the 70s from my knowledge). I have every reason sobelieve it is 88K original miles and has not rolled over. I have decided tomake room in the garage since this is a project that I never seem to make timefor (my 3rd child was just born). The car is a project and will needplenty of love which can be seen in the photos. I have taken pictures ofeverything I can think of on the car. Please understand this is a none runningproject car (motor does start and idle but does not drive). I think the car ismostly complete (either parts are installed or will come with the carseparate). I did not take pictures of the rear bumpers but I do have them (theyare in poor shape and are rusted through – maybe better off replacing them).Plenty of new items on the car and I was going to do a resto mod since I knowthe original engine has been long gone. The car will not come with thesnowflake wheels currently on the front – the car will come with 4 matchingrims (same rims as on the rear).
-The car is a SBC 350 with summit street/strip top end kit(new: heads, timing chain and gears, cam, intake, carburetor, distributor andignition box). Original mechanical tach cannot be driven off of currentdistributor (I was going to go with a digital conversion).
-The car has a new high torquestarter, flywheel and clutch
-The car has new body bushings butthe bolts are still loose
-The car comes with some new weather stripping not installed
-The car comes with new headlight bezels not installed
-The car comes with a set of 4 new cooper cobra radial g/ttires 235/60R15
-See pictures for loose items not currently on the car
-Will include some other GM heads, holley carburetor andother parts removed from topend
The car does need some fiberglass work and has had some workdone in the past. Almost all rubber on the car is dried out and will need to bereplaced. The steering column was taken apart prior to my ownership and was notput back together correctly (lots of play in steering wheel). Currently thethrottle linkage is not hooked up and missing. The motor leaks oil and willneed to be gone through. Never checked all the electrical items so assume theyare none functional.
I have tried to detail and document everything I can thinkof but I am sure I have missed some things. Please feel free to ask anyquestions.
