120,410 WELL DOCUMENTED MILES!

This Guards Red & Beige 928 S4 had two owners that were both friends and pilots for the same airlines. This S4 was purchased new in Florida in 1987. A front end accident is noted on the car fax from Feb 1991. In 1997 with 74,200 miles the current owner ( passed in 2020 ) purchased it from his buddy and used the car to drive between Florida & his NJ home. The second owner has kept receipts for all repairs. In 2003 with 96,054 at Pineridge Coach Works in Naples Florida the car was treated to a full respray where window and sunroof seals and all were replaced. 21 years later, the paint looks great! Also, every button and switch functions, and anything needing repairs were done. As the wife was using the car in Florida for awhile until it became to difficult to get in and out and it developed a rough / sporadic idle too. We had the car flatbeded to us here in NJ where it was serviced in the late 90s!. After going through the 928 and at a cost of over 5k the following work was performed; New Battery, Crank Position Sensor, Intake Manifold Gasket, New Fuel Injectors and Gaskets, Knock Sensor and the Fuel Injection J Tronic Electric Control Box. Along with fresh fuel and an oil service and we put the 928 back on the road. This 928 PULS STRONG and idles smooth. It also goes down the road at all speeds nice and smooth with no odd vibrations. The Auto Trans shifts just fine and it brakes smooth and straight as well. This 928 has no rust! It’s a solid car that could use some interior freshening up and various none life threatening drips fixed. It has an extensive history of the important belts changed, as recently as 8 k miles ago. This one is worth saving and you can drive it as you recondition it to make it yours!
