This 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 boasts a rare Twister Special package, making it one of only nine ever produced in this configuration. With a 351 ci Cleveland engine and a 4 speed manual transmission, it stands as the sole surviving 351 4 speed among the 96 Twister Specials manufactured, and one of just 14 to maintain its original numbers matching engine and transmission. Adorned in Grabber Orange over black, the car is equipped with a host of features, including the instrumentation group, Traction Lok differential, front and rear spoilers, rear window slats, fold down rear seat, power steering, and 14" wheels with Goodyear Polyglass tires. Originally shipped to C&F Motors in Oswego, KS, it was acquired by the second owner in 1980 and has been a constant presence for the past 42 years, showcased in numerous car shows. Notably featured in publications like Mustang Monthly as the only known 351C 4 speed of its kind, it was also utilized by Terry Fritts (Mr. Twister) for documenting Twister Specials' originality. The car underwent a minor restoration in 1980 and a more extensive one in 2011. Kept as a cherished showcase at the owner's home until early 2023, it has been periodically started and driven. The comprehensive documentation includes the original build sheet, window sticker, owner's manual, Elite Marti Report, Kansas license plate, photos from Kansas City International Raceway, restoration photos, original magazines, and correspondence between Terry Fritts and the owner.
