This is my sons Volvo that appears to have been sold new in Arizona and remained there until the owners moved to British Columbia in 1996. We have a copy of the Arizona Title. It also appears that my son is the 3rd owner but we can not confirm that. The engine runs great, the car drives nicely, the transmission and overdrive shift well and the brakes work as they should. All the interior and exterior lights work. The wipers, horn, heater & defroster and the sunroof work well. The aftermarket Sony radio works but has some static but that might be because the antenna will not extend. The a/c, and the dash light dimmer switch do not work. The soft sponge-like material used for the headrests and interior door handles have some cracks. The dash pad is also cracked. The shift knob is cracked/broken but still is functional. The car has an older repaint that still shines but there are scuffs, scratches, dents and rocks chips. The beauty rings on the wheels have some minor curb rash. The right rear back-up light lens is broken and the right front signal/marker light lens has a fine crack. There were two small rust holes in both lower rear quarter panels near the mud flaps, they have been repaired and repainted and done very well. There were no signs of a previous rust repair in that common area for rust and those were the only rust holes we could find on the car. There is only some minor surface rust on some rock chips and some areas underneath the car but again they are minor. It is a very solid vintage Volvo that has a new set of Uniroyal Tiger Paw Ice & Snow tires and a new rear muffler. I have over 200 pictures showing everything including the rust repair and the underbody with the car on a lift.
