You are looking at an incredibly rare 1964 Chevrolet Corvair 95 Rampside pickup truck! These are super cool, and only 851 were built, meaning you more than likely won't see another one at any shows or cruises you attend.
This example was purchased by the current owner as a very solid and clean vehicle to begin with. He then started the well-documented journey of restoring it as close to original as possible. We have a binder that is about 2-3 inches thick with photos of before the restoration, receipts, research, and more which will go on to the new owner. It has just 7,326 miles since the restoration was completed, including on the engine rebuild.
The exterior is painted to the code 521 White with Black accents. Black steel wheels with chrome center caps are paired with white wall radial tires for a timeless look. The floor of the bed has a spray-in bedliner making it not only look great but be usable without worrying about damaging the paint. Put your beach chairs and cooler in the back and hit the road! Or drop that ramp and load your bikes or motorcycle in the bed! Imagine going to a car show in your Corvair Rampside with a 60s motorcycle strapped into the bed! You'd be the hit of the show, for sure!
The interior is fully restored as well with a vinyl and cloth upholstery that is as close to stock original as you can get, and really takes you back to the 60s. The only changes inside are a RetroSounds AM/FM radio with AUX input, and a tachometer on the column. Behind the seat you will find the spare tire, some extra belts, and a belt tool.
During the 3-year long restoration the engine was rebuilt, dual exhaust was added along with front disc brakes. An aluminum finned oil pan was installed to help keep the engine cool, magnetic pick-up points, electric oil pump, alternator, oil pump primer switch, tachometer, and temp gauges were installed. The truck comes with a complete cover with storage bag. This Corvair was blasted down to bare metal to start the restoration and the undercarriage was also painted to protect it for future generations to enjoy.
Inside the bed there are several compartments for storage, the battery (with quick disconnect), and of course the engine. The engine is a 1964 Chevy 164 CID 6-cylinder that purrs like a kitten! The seller has driven this vehicle to our showroom several times with no issues, even in the hot Florida summer heat! This truck has a clean and clear Florida title and is ready for a proud new owner. You won't find a more documented or carefully restored Corvair Rampside pickup for sale. Call now, because this is one rare classic truck you will regret missing out on.
