I am selling my beautiful 1959 Porsche 356 Speedster replica, built by Classic Motor Carriages. It is built on and titled as a 1969 VW. It starts right up every time and runs great with more than enough power to get this little car zooming down the road. It's always fun to go though the gears with the 4 speed manual transmission, and hear the engine purring through the Monza style exhaust. The car looks very correct and the fit & finish on the body is beautiful.The burgundy paint shines brilliantly and the tan/brown interior compliments it perfectly. It has the optional snap-in tops that the Speedsters had, including the folding "convertible" top and the tonneau cover with zipper, as well as the side windows that slide into place. All of the lights and indicators work as they should, as well as the Vintage retro gauges.
Overall, it's a beautiful car that is an absolute blast to drive. It gets plenty of attention driving down the road or even just parked. Not a flawless show or museum car, but something you can get in, turn the key and really have a lot of fun with. This is a No Reserve auction so it will be sold to the highest bidder.
