1986 Toyota Land Cruiser Additional Info:

1986 Toyota Land Cruiser HJ60 with a brand new remanufactured Cummins 4 Bt engine from Big Bear. This engine has been built to 130 Hp and 370 torque and cost $10,000. The engine has been installed with new vibration dampening motor mounts. This truck had the original straight six cylinder diesel engine non turbo that was under powered. We installed a turbo on it and the piston rings failed. It was at that point that I decided to go with the 4bt Cummins conversion.I have run out of time to complete this project.
Most of the hard work and money have been spent. It still needs the Fas pump mounted and fuel line connected, Turbo piping made/modified/ installed, Inter cooler water pump mounted and connected, 4" stainless exhaust system moved from drivers side and modified to go on the passenger's side. Radiator and heater hoses bought and installed.
As shown in the pictures, the truck loos good. Paint is over all in good shape. There is Bondo in the rocker panels and the rear passenger door fender well that are lifting.
Transmission mount need more attention before it should or could be driven.The truck was originally a 24 Volt system. It would be best to convert to 12 Volt, that is why I ordered the 12 volt alternator and starter. All of the options/ accessories that I installed are 12 volt. Currently there is a 24 volt to 12 volt converter installed under the drivers seat.
Air conditioning evaporator has been converted to 134A

This is a Great truck. If someone buys and finishes it, They will have an incredible Land Cruiser for not a lot of money!
