1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, 351 Windsor V8, C90X Ford Aluminum Transmission, Mustang 2-Door SportsRoof, Numbers matching, rare color combination (Wimbledon White Paint- Ford # 1619-A) with black-out hood treatment, Red Knit Vinyl Mach I Hi-Back Bucket seats, 3.00 conventional rear axle, FMX select Shift Automatic Transmission, Sport Deck Reae Seat, Power steering, power Front Disc brakes, simply put this is a nice car and a nice driver and gets tons of attention everywhere I’ve taken it! This Vehicle was actually produced on March 11, 1969, it was built at Metuchen New Jersey, This particular Mach 1 was first purchased from a gentleman in Houston who had owned it for around six years. It was a car that was only driven on nice sunny days, otherwise it was garage and cared for. He purchased the car from a tennis pro who lived in the Austin area and that owner would also drive it to the club when the weather was nice. This man had owned the car for about one year. The Austin owner said he purchased the car from the original owner who lived in Oklahoma. The body of the car is extremely nice and appears to be original. To me this white and red color combination is one of the nicest offered on the Mach 1 and really compliments the lines of the car. All of the codes on the door tag match so it was originally white with red Mach 1 stripe and red interior with the optional fold down rear seat, the drivetrain included the FMX 3-speed automatic and 351 Windsor V8. The rear end was a Ford 9 inch with 3.00:1 gears. I am selling the car for the current owner and friend of mine who let this car pass by him in 2009 during the layoffs. Then a few years later he missed it again by two days as it got sold out from underneath him and when it came up for sale again in April 2016, my friend pounced on it! He has owned it since and the only reason he is selling it is he and his wife want to do some renovations to their home otherwise he would not sell it. Here is a list of things done to the car: The addition of C90X Ford aluminum intake, addition of new pony auto lite 4 BBL Carb, PerTronics electronic ignition, 24 inch 4 core radiator and fan shroud replaced the original 20 inch, New water pump, autolite hoses and clamps, Auto light distributor cap and plug wires, new battery and hold down kit, new LH motor mount, painted and detailed top of engine and compartment, new upper/Lower control arms (laurel mountain show arms) rebuilt brake calipers with turns rotors and new pads, new brake hoses, new performance front springs from John's mustang, new swaybar links, new carpet front and rear, new padding front rear and above differential area, new wood steering wheel, HD bulbs and the gauges, new door panels and a lot more.... pre purchase inspections are welcome and encouraged, if you want help arranging transport to your home town just ask me as I am happy to help arrange, simply put this Mach 1 is beautiful- a blast to drive- and will bring a lot of enjoyment to whoever buys it and will make some forever wonderful memories from owning it,
