1985 Volvo 240 Additional Info:

I'm the second owner of the this 1985 Volvo 240. Mileage is unknown and it has the instrument cluster replaced. Runs really good! The body and interior do have flaws and there is some rust on the rear wheel wells of the vehicle. The photos will have to tell most of the story. Also, this car is sold as is, and the new owner will have to accept the car in driving condition.
There are two know issue that will need fixing sooner or later. First the steering rack has a slow leak. You can order a new one for about 650 dollars. Also the muffler has an intermittent rattle. The auto locks have been unplugged inside the driver door, so you'll rewire some of the and plug it back. The car also has unmatched door and ignition locks.
The car drives well and has a good amount of power for a 240 of this age. Recent shocks and springs, as well as, as new alternator, fuel pump, battery, brakes, and plenty of fresh fluids.
There is no AC in this car either. I've never bothered to update the compressor.
The car has recent update IPD strut braces on the upper and lower, giving the car much better handling in corners.
Comes with original jack and spare. Also included are the receipts for service and parts.
Comes with extra keys.
