This car is fun and fast. It has so many features about it that are just amazing.... but the attention it gets is undeniable. Where to start.... The car was titled in 2015 but not completed until last year.
Built on a 6 spd manual transmission with a Porsche Boxster S 6 cylinder motor which sounds really good revving to 7,000rpm into the custom single exhaust tip it screams when you’re driving it how it should be. The Boxster S is capable of over 70mph in second gear and 164mph. With the slightly larger wheels this car should be capable of 170mph if you’re that crazy. I’ve had it over 120mph and it was not slowing down. Brakes work smooth and strong. Handling is probably better than the original Porsche it’s built on because you’ve got a longer wheelbase (steel reinforced so it’s solid) and steamroller width wheels.
Just repainted Balloon White in December and wetsanded / buffed the multiple layers of clear coat that give this car a glass-like reflection and almost glows day and night the white is so bright.
Working power windows. Working power batwings (a MUST for this car). Working windshield wiper.
No annoying, garbage, loud, constantly failing door poppers on this car. It has door latches from a 2017 Corvette C7 that allow you to open the doors both manually and with the press of a button. The electric latches are very quiet and reliable - opposite of loud unreliable door poppers that really sound horrible when there’s a crowd of people watching you get in your car and it makes a CLUNK CLUNK sound - or worse it doesn’t work at all and you can’t get in!
Keyless entry and ignition system with two fobs so you don’t need keys - door buttons power on when you get nearby and power off when you walk away just like a new Corvette.
Front has air strut suspension with on-board compressor as you can see in the pictures it rides at a nice, aggressive stance but can be lifted in the front 4-6” no problem for transport or steep driveways or big speed bumps.
Working A/C and heat with digital factory Porsche climate control. Motor has 80k miles and runs with Amsoil signature series oil (which was just changed 300 miles ago so you’re good for a year). No leaks. No funny noises. Runs STRONG. Clutch has no issues.
Porsche Renntech race pedal covers including floor panel and dead pedal really look nice.
REAL LP640 tail lights ($7k), REAL Versace Lamborghini Murcielago Seats (they only made 10 sets of these) value probably $15k alone. White leather and carbon fiber flat bottom steering wheel.
3 Piece Asanti wheels from a real Murcielago. They are sized 19x8 and 20x13. Front tires are brand new Pirelli PZero and rear are Nitto Invo with about 75% clean tread on them. Last pic shows the wheels without the new Pirelli’s (other pic shows front tires) just to give you an idea how massive these are.
Stereo had 8 speakers. 6 are Digital Dynamic Pro’s and 2 are 10” Alpine subwoofers. Memphis Pro and Digital Dynamic amps it is LOUD and crystal clear. Bluetooth capable.
LED headlights with high and low beam projectors really work well and safely at night.
I’m sure there’s more that I’m not mentioning but this car is a blast to play with. It gets attention day and night.
I have a custom made hardtop for the car but the rear latches and weatherstripping is not done. I only drive this car when it’s nice weather. The real car does not even have a hardtop - guys pay $15k-25k for a hardtop!
Its not as fast asthe real car and isn't built to be - but it costs about 1/4 to 1/5th of one and it costs less than that to maintain. It is a really FUN TOY! If you want a convertible sports car that is attention getting and looks like a few hundred grand this is it. Drive it as much as you want and it won't depreciate! Try putting 10-20k miles on a real exotic. Depreciation and maintenance will cost you more that it does to buy this entire car.
Please don’t waste my time and I won’t waste yours. The car has a clean ASPT title (custom built title). VERY few banks will finance a show car or custom built car. Haggerty will for a good downpayment. Also American Collectors will insure this car full coverage for only around $700 a year!
