Very Rare Vehicle
One of two in the Hupmobile Registery!
The vehicle was purchased in May of 2002 from the second owner in upstate New York. Our intention was to build an upper end high quality street rod for my personal use. It is and was my belief, that the beautiful lines of the car provide the foundation for the creation of a one-of-a-kind work of automotive art!
However, I am now working towards semi-retirement and have changed the focus of my time and talents.
The stately lines of the vehicle provide the opportunity for the builder to use a tri-color paint scheme. It has the original convertible top metal cover that creates a hide-away top. This most prized and unique features creates a look just like that on the high end vehicles of that era, such as Pierce-Arrow and Duesenberg. As a matter of fact, this F-222 Hupmobile closely resembles a Duesenberg!
This vehicle is 26-1/2 inches longer than a 1932 Ford!
All sheet metal has been chemically dipped and derusted. The meticulous sheet metal work and fabrication has been performed. The dash has been modified to accept and conceal the Vintage Air Conditioning unit.

Other Information
Several years ago, Ken’s Klassics had the pleasure owning both this 1932 Hupmobile Model F-222 Cabriolet Roadster (one of two known) and a 1934 Hupmobile Series K-421 Cabriolet Roadster (the only one known)!! We had the pleasure of selling the 1934 Hupmobile to a couple from Illinois who then resto-rodded it. A photo of this car has been included in the ad for your reference. This car has been shown at many events and won numerous awards. As you can see these vehicles have beautiful sleek lines that give a luxurious look so prized by collectors today.
