1967 Replica/Kit Makes SC COBRA Additional Info:
Hello and thanks for looking. Well it's finally time to let some things go. This was my fathers toy he bought about three years ago. He had started working on it and passed away. I will try and give as much info as I can remember. This was a driving car. When he first got he drove it to my house. He was unhappy with 2 things. The motor was "just a stock 454" and whoever had it last had designed the dumbest roll cage "he ever saw". I agreed with the roll cage thing but thought the motor sounded good. I took it up the road and man this thing was fast, but my dad was always into the biggest and baddest motors you could buy. Anyway, in the small time he had with car he had removed the interior which was never really done, just a few pieces of plywood for seats and he cut out all the old roll cage. unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to talk about what he was doing, so what work needs done to finish welding or adding supports or what needs finished, I have no idea. He was going to make this totally street is all I know. I suppose where it's at you could make that choice or make race car out of it or use it for both like it was. He did accomplish changing the drive chain. He put a 540 in it that he said he paid over 20k for. I have found no receipts to prove or show. I found a list of final things he wrote down with what was left to do to get motor started. So the motor has never been fired. I took off a valve cover that I think proves it has never been started you can see in picture. But as far as proving what parts are in motor I'm told you would have to take motor apart and that's not going to happen. So that's the best I can do. Ill list below what I know. I know I could get a lot more for car if it was completed and running, but if that were the case I know I would want to keep it and I really need to get rid of things. So have fun with it and I will say with no hesitation this car will blow away anything on the street. Dad took doors off when he was working on. I can't find bolts and afraid to try putting back on anyway, probably need two people so you don't scratch, but they are in same shape as body and nice. This is titled as "special construction" being that its a kit car. i put 1200 miles but title says exempt. If I remember right the car is also stretched for stability and the extra width was added to doors? I think that's what he said but not 100%. Battery is in rear and to old to take a charge. I tried lights with jump and they worked.

If I think of anything else I'll add later. If you know what your doing you could be out tearing up the streets in no time. If picking up make sure to bring a trailer with a winch. I have a trailer and we can meet right at license bureau to do title and transfer. My best guess is my dad probably had about 60k into this. I do not except paypal. Cash on pickup or if you are out of town and shipping we can do wire transfer. I will assist your shipper in loading. I've had great luck with uship. Please do not bid unless you have funds and are serious. Thanks. Depending where your at, I might consider delivering in my trailer, but we would have to discuss beforehand. I am open to a trade.
