1979 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Convertible Deluxe Edition Additional Info:

This is a 1979 VW Beetle Bug convertible Karman edition. Black body, black top, black interior. It runs very well. I have had new pistons&rings 1600cc, new fuel pump and injectors, new brake parts, lots of new engine parts. Transaxle works perfectly. 3.88 high speed gears. I have done nothing to the body since I got it. The floors were repaired poorly, and need to be replaced....I just drove it. The top also has been repaired poorly and needs to be replaced.....if you want. Still driveable, and fun. Engine & Trans seem to be in very good condition at this time. Body has issues. I just drove it. It really needs a battery that fits, I just used one I had. Lots of fun, still needs things, but very much of interest to the general public (you can not get gas without someone telling you their VW story).
