1966 Ford Mustang Red Factory Pony Interior Additional Info:
Factory GT Not a Clone. Original Red Pony Interior still in place and in excellent condition. Ext Red code T. . I purchased the car last May from an Oklahoma owner who had the car on display at classic car motel lobby in Branso, MO. which he frequented . The car was sent to local classic restoration shop owned by Branson Classic Car Auction to verify true factory
GT and prepare for starting as it had been idle in the show room for 2 or more years. The car has original factory air and power steering, with factory GT disc brakes in frt. rally Pac with console.and rebuilt automatic dual range tranny. The entire car was inspected for road worthyness and all belts and hoses replaced as needed. 5 new radial white walls on style steel wheels balanced and mounted. New calipers and pads in frt. New Bilstenin shocks all around for ride and handling.New Sanden rotary compressor for air with updated condenser. Air blows cold. factory rally Pac was dated so I repaced it with a new one on. Factory AM /Tape still works but I had a Sony AM,FM CD/MP3 with USB for Ipod installed in the glove box with Pioneer kick panel speakes and rear speakers with pre cut vinyl covered red rear package tray. The original 4 V carb and intake were in place and the carb did not even need adjusting. I decided to upgrade for performance and added a polished dual plane Edelbrock intake and Holley street four barrel with electric choke. I retained the orginal intake and Ford 4 V factory carb. The gas gauge needs repair as it goes only to 1/2 . I have a new sending unit to install. Added Bilstein street level shocks all around . High dollar but worth it for handling and ride. I have a new sending unit to install next week. She starts right up and runs and drives as well or better than new. I put a rebuilt tranny in last summer and is still under warranty. I have all receipts . I know of no leaks or issues . The body and paint are good. Not detailed underneath as I want a driver not a garage queen. Engine is strong and does not use nor leak oil. Neg. The rear bumper has a little bubbled area on the chrome and I have a new one but it has not been installed. Left frt fender appears to have been replaced as it has no date code. More photos to be added. Mileage is as showing and not verified. I have receipts for about 8 K in service and parts. since last May. Dr. Dallas Johnson 417 860 7337
