1978 Ford F-150 Four Wheel Drive Project

1978 Ford F-150 Additional Info:

This is a complete four wheel drive package that will make a good project for someone wishing to build a mid seventies four wheel drive. All mechanical components are the including drive shafts and transfer case. All parts are mates except for the engine which is one I bought a few years ago and was told it was a 460 in good condition but it has been in my shed for about ten years so I would anticipate a total rebuild for this project. The carburetor and some other exterior stuff is probably missing from the engine. The transmission crossmember has been cut from the frame with a plasma cutter so it will be easy to weld back in place. (I will do this if the buyer prefers) The bed has a very solid floor but some rust in the wheel wells as shone in the pictures and is missing the tail gate but is a pretty good bed otherwise. The cab has had some very good work done on it already and has real nice interior and bright works including real nice grill and front bumper. The gas tank is missing but I have a good one available in a 73 chassis that can go with this project if the buyer wants to take it out. The frame has some repair work done on the rear section right beside where the gas tank mounts. Please ask questions and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
