1959 Other Makes 4 E 122 Deluxe Additional Info:
Selling my Studebaker 1959 C-Cab pick-up with 12 volt V-8 259 and 3 speed on column and overdrive. Odometer shows 63000 miles but who knows ? Tires are radials with less than 20 miles on them. Been garaged all the timeI have owned it - some 10 years. Driven very little usually had a dead vehicle in front of the garage. Brakes are down. Windshield has crack - not obscuring. But comes with two new windshields, windshield new rubber gasket and exhaust pipe set NOS from Studebaker factory. Some slight rust spots you can see in photo. Hubcaps are fancier newer Studebaker car - truck hubcaps are incredibly plain. Ran fine when I drove it. Comes with 12 volt battery. Haselectric wipers, upgraded with Studebaker window distributor for easy point gap setting with hex key. Spare rim and tire, new carb kit. re-cored radiator. Some paint bubbling but no dents. Never tried the overdrive when I drove it.In line clear gas filter but gas tank may need cleaning. Some slight rust under bottom of doors. Will add more info as I check it out. The new windshields will need to be packed against damage - this will be up to buyer. Easy to work ondashboard instruments as no need to lay on floor and work upward - here you access by opening the hood and right in front at convenient height is wiringand instruments. Also convenient is a spin on oil filter. The truck came with a heater. Four matching Cooper tires with full tread P215/75 R 15. Just now I put in battery, filled radiator and primed carb with gas and it started on first crank - no smoke that I could see. Only ran a few seconds as I don't want to pull any old gas in from the tank. After it ran the coolant also ran - ran out I think from the right side of the engine through the freeze plug (core plug ). Stop -leak may work - or not.May need to replace freeze plugs.
