I am selling my 1989 Cadillac Allante. I bought this car from the original owner who had the car in the garage since it was new. The paint and body is almost perfect with the exception of 1 or 2 very small scratches. He always kept it clean and waxed and never in the rain or bad weather. The car has 122k miles and runs and drives like almost new. I took it on a 120 mile drive this weekend and it performed flawlessly. The interior is again almost perfect, with the exception of a small amount of wear on the center glove box. The seats, carpet and headliner are perfect. The soft top has 2 small areas the have been repaired, and does not leak. All of the rubber seals are perfect and I ran some water over the car this morning and had no leaks at all. Mechanically the car is perfect. there are no leaks, the engine idles and runs very smooth and the transmission shifts smoothly thru all shift points. The brakes were recently completely replaced with new pads and rotors and fluid change. The trunk pull downs functions perfect as it should as does the top pull down. The car comes with the hard top rack and the original Cadillac cover for it. The only thing I know the car will need is the A/C converted to 134a, and the original owner started to do that and never finished. The tires although having lots of tread left has some some cracking on the sidewalls. All of the gauges work, however I think the fuel sending unit needs to be replaced, as when I fill it up, it will only read 1/2 tank. I can not think of anything else, if you have questions, please feel free to call me anytime 949-306-5390. Howie. I feel my asking price is fits well with the condition of the car. I would love to keep this car as it is certainly one of the nicest ones I have owned, however I need to room for my newest acquisition.
