Worth well over $10,000 in parts aloneThis is your chance to own a very cool conversion of a Chevy S10 to an all electric powered truck. It is powered by 24 six volt Trojan T 105 batteries and its range is up to 100 miles, depending on traffic conditions. It was converted by a professional mechanic specializing in building electric vehicles and was converted to electric by removing the gas tank, exhaust system, and engine and welding in a platform underneath the truck box to support the weight of the batteries evenly. The truck has some new batteries and some that are a couple of years old. It has four decent tires and runs well. Truck has $3000 in batteries alone, along with a $500 motor, a $1600 battery charger, plus hundreds hours of conversion labor. A great opportunity to create your own custom rat rod, use as an environmentally friendly transportation option, use as a dump truck, or simply use as a cool toy to drive around the neighborhood.
