1964 Other Makes Morris Minor Tourer Additional Info:
Morris Minor 1000 Tourer. Convertible. Right-hand drive. 1964. Two door.
> Made by Austin in Oxford, ngland. Almond green paint. Porcelain green interior.
This is a great car. Really a crowd pleaser. Good paint. All original. Car starts well, uns well. Cruises at highway speed. Clean as a whistle. Good paint. Top is flawless. Gearbox is good, nd easy. All gauges and lights work.
Overhead valve 1098 cc engine. 4 cylinder engine. Four speed manual transmission, ront and rear separate brake master cylinders. Skinner Union carburetor. 38 MPG. 7 gallon tank.
The odometer works. It currently says 19,606. The current title, nd other papers from Indiana and Michigan don't list mileage. Based on the condition of the car, think the car may actually only have the 19,606 miles.
> It was imported from England in 1994 by a Michigan couple. They went to England, ought it, ad it painted, ad a new interior installed, nd shipped it to the US. My father bought the car in Indiana in 2009 and did a frame-on renovation over the next year. He concentrated on the engine compartment, runk, op, nd mechanics. The car had all new brake cylinders, eals, hoes in 2010. An entire new convertible top was installed in 2010, nd is in perfect condition.
Other options are custom mahogany glove box lids (actually there are no real glove boxes - the car has a large tray instead), hrome swivel ash tray, nd modern seat belts for the 2 front seats.

> Title: This car has a valid, lear title registered in the State of TN with a number that matches the plate on the engine. The car was previously registered in the State of Michigan. The title lists the year as 1960. The car is easily proven to be a 1964. I have it in writing from the State of TN that they would only change the year if the State of MI sends a letter stating that they made and error. I have a letter from the State of MI which says that they no longer have the record from 1995 when they issued the license, nd therefore cannot help. Secondly, his car belonged to my recently deceased father, ho is not here to sign the title. I will send a copy of his death certificate and have my Mother sign the title. This is the technique that is accepted in my state. I will complete any other process that you or your state requires to transfer this title. There are no problems with this title, ust the two technicalities that I mention above.
