1923 Other Makes Gardner Radio Special Additional Info:
1923 Gardner Radio Special Convertible, I am the second registeredowner and it has been in our family since 1995.Gardner cars were made in St. Loui, Missouri by the Gardner family after being buggy makers for fifty years. These cars were hand made as opposed to production line cars like Fords. They were longer, lower, sleeker, more powerful and 5 times the cost of other makes. This car was a barn find in Quebec. The original owner took the train to St. Louis and drove his new car back home.I made a replicagas tank, painted the steel wheels, new distributor, new starter, radrebuild and engine rebuild in 2012.The car runs great with a grind going into first gear when the engine is cold.I have an appraisal and a video of the car running.
