HISTORY: This car was converted by a doctor in California into the Batmobile to bring to the hospital for kids. Being a batman fanatic, he left no detail out right down to the custom bat symbols stitched into the door panel. When his Batmobile made the local newspaper, SONY decided to take the car one step further and outfit it with enough top of the line electronics (I will list them all in features) to make the space shuttle look like a toy. The doctor eventually tracked down the original Batmobile and let this one go . Now, it will be sold from my private collection. Trust me, there are several private auction houses that would love to get their hands on this but only a chosen few get to witness those types of auctions. This allow everybody a chance to own this piece of history.
Note = 38,000 original miles on odometer
FEATURES: Please read everything this car has to offer. Everytime you sit in it you will notice something new.
Exterior: Starting up front you will notice a very neat turbine style wheel with the bat symbol painted just above it on the hood. The symbols on the car are not decals. They are painted on in the most professional finish I have ever seen. The paint is shiny black and between the finish and the symbols must have cost a fortune alone. People in the business that have seen this car and estimate the paint job between nine and eleven thousand dollars when it was done. Making your way up the outside you will notice the bat ears on the roof and the wings on the back. The back of the car sports the dual exhaust pipes, a pretend turbo/jet type exhaust and a really sharp bat emblem. The rims are alloy style with the bat symbols on the center caps.
If you notice the doors have no handles. They open by remote control on your alarm key ring. Don't worry if the battery goes dead or you loose your remote, there is an override under the car you can use to get you in.
Under the car has purple hover lights that look really cool at night. As if people weren't going to notice you anyway.
Interior: This is the fun part. This car is a one seater with an entire control center next to you and a batman head behind you. You will see all the bat emblems on the steering wheel, gauges and shifter. Under the shifter are 5 switches. Switch 1 is a master. Switch 2, 3 and 4 operate automatic doors and are like secrete compartments for your electronics. You flick these switches and the doors will open and close automatically. It looks awesome and impressive when you go to change a CD and the little door buzzes open. Switch 5 operated the purple hover lights under the car and the lights that reflect off of the chest of the batman head behind you(see pics). Here is a list of the electronics installed.
