1966 Oldsmobile Toronado Additional Info:
This 50 year old beauty only has 25,700 original miles on it. I bought it a year ago when the owner passed away. It had been stored away for most of it's life I believe and you'll find almost no Toronado's with this low mileage. The previous owner intended for it to become a show car. I put a battery in it and fired it right up. A bad cylinder forced me to spend $5000 to rebuild the entire motor. You can be the beneficiary of this motor rebuild!!! This ORIGINAL motor with all matching numbers currently only has 500 miles on it and is going in for it's first oil change to remove the break in oil. Runs great!!! Original block, heads, intake etc, and ALL rotating parts inside it are NEW. (crank, cam, pistons, rings, valves, lifters, rods, water pump, timing chain, oil pan, etc.) I opted to keep the original quadrajet carburetor and sent it off to Florida to be completely rebuilt too. Shows well! In fact, the pictures are all from recent car shows. Original interior still decent for a 50 year old car but may need some TLC in the future. It has definitely been repainted at least once but I believe this is the original color. Paint has a few spots needing attention as expected for a 50 year old car. I have included those spots in the pictures so you know up front. Great lines, not a dent on it anywhere!!! Auto windows, auto seats still all working. Look up the current NADA book value and it'll give you an idea of what these Toronados are and can be worth. Previous bids barely covered the cost of the new motor. If that's where you are at, you're still way off the price I need to get to break even. Good Luck!!! (This car is an attention getter!!! My son has a saying, "Everybody is your friend when you drive the Toronado"
