1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Additional Info:
1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass "S" 2 door Coupe with 34,290 documented miles. Purchased from original owner in 2007. Have copy of original Title and clear Ohio title with miles certified as actual. This Olds is in near perfect unrestored original condition. It has been Certified by the Oldsmobile Club of America to be in it's original condition as delivered by the original dealer. To obtain this Certification, the vehicle must have 100% original paint, chrome, upholstery, carpet, glass and vinyl roof. (For details of what is required for certification, see oca.org -class judging - Class 18). So, in the photos attached, the car's shiny paint, chrome and stainless is original from the factory. It's cloth interior, carpet, headliner, trunk mat, vinyl roof, tinted glass, and T-3 headlights are all 'born with' original. The car even has it's original radiator hoses and brakes. Drive belts, battery, exhaust, tires, and tune-up items are the only items that have been replaced. I also have original bill of sale, Ziebart rustproof receipt, Protect-O-Plate, Original Owners Manual, Warranty Book, and 1971 Factory Service Manual.
As a 35+ year member of the Oldsmobile Club of America, and owner of several unrestored original Oldsmobiles it is time to thin my collection. This vehicle was Ziebart rustproofed when new. It has always been garaged and has had zero rust ever. Drive train is the bullet proof 350 Olds Rocket with Turbo Hydramatic transmission. It has power steering and front power disc brakes, and an AM radio. The Air Conditioning compressor was locked up when I purchased this vehicle, and had the drive belt disconnected. I have a period correct working compressor that comes with the car, but with the minimal use I have given the car, never bothered to put it on.
If you are looking for a 1971 Cutlass that has survived just as it came off the showroom floor, this is the car for you. The car is for sale locally and in other media, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. No scammers, and I DO NOT need your help to sell this vehicle. The winning bidder will have 7 days to complete the purchase after the auction closes. The vehicle will not leave my possession until all funds have cleared my bank.
