1962 Oldsmobile Super 88 Fiesta

1962 Oldsmobile Super 88 Fiesta station wagon. Only 3,837 made originally and how many have you ever seen ?
Original exterior patina created from sitting on a Colorado ranch in the sun for 60 years. Very solid, just surface rust with the original body. Very solid top and underneath. We left it just as we found it other than a matte sealer and replacement of the windshield with a new unit.
We have restored the car mechanically with the following but I am sure I am missing some things.
- rebuilt transmission- completely new braking system including booster, master cylinder, 4 wheel cylinders, flex hoses, shoes, hardware etc etc. - 4 new radial tires and 4 new rims. - new electric fuel pump- restored carburator from National Carburetor.- all new belts, hoses, thermostat, cables etc.- new oltage regulator- restored generator- multiple complete tune ups with all parts replaced once a year- constant oil changes and fluid changes etc. as we took it on road trips.
We have taken this car on dozens of long road trips over the years and it has been flawless. Last trip was from S. Florida to TN to see the Lane Motor Museum and the prior trip was from S. Florida to Buffalo NY to get chicken wings at Duff's.
The interior has also been restored :
- new carpet- new seat belts front and rear- new door panels- new headliner- new front and rear seat covers- etc etc.
Also, 2 NOS tail light bezels and lens assemblies were installed .
The original patina look with new mechanical systems and new interior. The car starts right u, runs well with no smoking, dripping, leaking or weird noises. As of today, everything is working. Draws crowds where ever it goes. We do not go to car shows, it is not our thing, but it does attract people everywhere.

As this is a 64 year old vintage car, it is sold as is, where it sits, with no warranties. Just like any other used car you would buy.
The ONLY reason we are selling it is we have over 2 dozen vintage cars and we are getting older. Storage and lack of a/c in a car limits use for us . We are selling off our non a/c cars and manual shift cars - and this car, without a/c is one of them. It was fun for years but we have other cars we can use year round instead.
