1962 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Additional Info:

First of all, I DO NOT accept payment through Ebay's new check out system for cars - the fees make it far too expensive and the process is unworkable from the buyer and seller standpoint as I and many others have experienced.
So that being said = DO NOT CLICK ON THEIR LINK AT THE END OF THE AUCTION and DO NOT PAY through EBAY OR THEIR AFFILIATE . DO NOT PAY THEIR INVOICE AND DO NOT PAY A DEPOSIT THROUGH THEIR SYSTEM.
Wait until I reach out to you when the auction ends and we can exchange information so you can get the title / bill of sale etc.. and address for the car pick up . Bank wires, checks, money orders or in person payments are fine. Just like the good old days. Our 8000+ feedback speaks for itself.
I have had this car for years . I have a clean Florida title in my name. It was originally from the mountains of CO where it spent 50 years or more sitting out in the high plains of CO Lots of patina but no holes, no rust through, solid top and bottom - see pics.
Since I have had it the following have been done to make the car a fabulous long distance and fun cruiser over the past few years. We do not drive it during the warm months here in S. Florida but this time of year we drive it weekly and take it on road trips.
All the mechanical parts of the car have been replaced or serviced or upgraded ;

I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere.
Car has an automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power rear window. No a/c or I would add it and add it to our keep forever cars.
Interior ;
New Windshield
New carpets, new door panels, new seat covers, new headliner, new sun visors, new seat belts. etc.
Misc. dash switches were replaced with NOS units.
Body and Misc;
Original, sitting in the sun for 60 years in Colorado finish and that is how I left it. Solid - rust free, no body damage or holes I can see - see photos.
NOS tail lenses and back up lenses and tail bezels.NOS headlight bezels and trim rings .
We own 30 vintage cars and after using this as a road trip car, we are cycling to a different car of ours ( 1962 Pontiac and 1966 Plymouth Satellite convertible) so this one is up for sale. We don't have to sell it so lowball offers will be ignored. It is stored either at my home which is hurricane proof or in a hurricane proof storage facility so it is fine sitting where it is but if you are intrigued or want it, we will sell it. If it does not sell I am just fine keeping it and driving it when the mood strikes me.
NOTHING wanted in trade. We have more than enough cars.
It is a 63 year old used car which is sold as is, where is, with zero warranties.
