1966 Oldsmobile 98 425ci V8 Switch Pitch Trans
Vehicle Details
1966 Olds 98. It’s not a base, and it’s not a Holiday. It’s the Luxury Sedan trim which was the highest package you could get in 66.
Power windows, power wing windows, power seat, tilt and telescoping wheel, power antenna, air conditioning, and power steering. All of which work. It has a big block 425. Turbo Hydramatic “switch pitch” 3 speed trans. Completely original car aside from a new starter, new alternator, and new mufflers.
Interior is amazing, but it has two rips on the seats, one on the drivers, the other is in the rear. That’s the only thing wrong I could find.
It runs, drives, and stops. But I believe it might have spun a connecting rod bearing which is why I’m selling it. It has a forged crank shaft so it may just need a set rolled into it. Which I was going to do but I just don’t have the time and space for.
Clean Colorado title in my name.
Shoot me an offer I’m open to whatever.
