1956 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Additional Info:

This 1956 Oldsmobile Super 88 was purchased new from Letts Oldsmobile in Dearborn, Michigan, driven home to Arizona by the original owner, and remained with the first owner’s family in Arizona until 2012, when it was then sold to a family friend, who had it there in Arizona until 2022. It has been garaged and driven only in summer since it has been in Wisconsin, and is offered with a clean Wisconsin title.
the original 324ci Rocket V8 paired with the original four-speed Jetaway Hydra-Matic transmission, it has its original upgrades of power steering and power brakes and a clock, along with a factory AM radio, a mid-1960s under-dash A/C unit (works great), Alpine radio unit in glove box (installed 2025), original jack and spare tire, a receiver hitch from Sept. '58, and new Coker whitewall tires.
The car shows a beautiful patina consistent with age, as this is the original paint: Shantung Beige for the body and Citation Bronze Poly for the roof. The interior features reupholstered beige cloth seats, lap belts, a two-spoke steering wheel, and a 64k-mile odometer.
Historical documents include a 1956 dealer invoice, original owner’s and shop manuals, historic registration documents, and partial service records.
Service in 2023: Replaced the brake master cylinder, valve cover gaskets, thermostat, radiator hoses, under-hood pad, distributor cap, rotor, vacuum advance assembly, and taillight lenses, plus cleaned the ignition points and serviced oil and coolant. In 2024 the carburetor was rebuilt by National Carburetors, and the weather trim was replaced, along with the vent window gaskets. New in 2025: Kick panels, door seal plates, carpet, U joints, rear pinion seals, and tires.
