1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible Additional Info:
1971 Olds Cutlass Convertible. 350/350 drive train. 20" tires and wheels with almost new tread and chrome wheels shine up great. Power windows. I believe all the gauges work. I added the temp/oil pressure/volt gauge because it didn't have those. Car stays cool even in the Florida heat, oil pressure is strong and it starts right up.Runs great, drives great, stops great, shifts great. It really bites that I need to sell it. I have some home renovations and new roof that I need to do.I have a clean title in my name.It is a "driver" in good condition. It is not a show car. It has had some body work but looks pretty good for a driver. Its not perfect. The interior is rather amazing considering the age of the car. Seats and door panels are in really good condition. The dash isn't perfect but also pretty darned good for the age. All four electric windows work. A couple of them are slow and need a little help but they do work. I purchased two replacement window motors that I will let go with the car. When I bought it, I replaced the rear deck lid and spoiler, gauges, the ignition switch, Rear Air Shocks, the Edelbrock Carburetor, alternator and battery. Prior to me buying it, previous owner put on a new convertible top, new radiator, did the body work and painted it.I drive the car to work and around town now and then to cruise with the top down. I would feel comfortable driving the car cross country. It has been put together to drive.I am more than happy to help drive it onto a trailer if you are having it shipped to you or to meet you here for a test drive.I really hate to see it go. Someone is getting a fun, classic muscle car convertible at a very good price. They are harder and harder to find. I spent about a year looking when I got this one. Now I have to let it go :-/
The convertible top goes up and down manually. The electric motor is in the trunk. It was next on my list of things to repair. I'm including the motor. Not sure how well it works but I didn't mind raising and lowering the top manually.Winning bidder is to Paypal a non-refundable deposit of $1000 upon winning. Remainder of the money is due within 72 hours, three days upon the completion of the auction. Please do not bid unless you are able to do these things. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
I have the car for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early if needed. I also have to say that the car is 45 years old. everything I am saying is true to the best of my knowledge but I have to say the car is "as-is."
