1967 Oldsmobile Toronado Base Additional Info:

This 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado was a running project car that the owner has had for over 5 years. While it needs work and was primarily used for weekend drives, it’s a classic that now needs wok but has a clean title. This mean Toronado was destined to be a "Mad Max" style driver without the worry of perfection. It's a great platform to own a big block cruiser with the - ahead of its time and revolutionary - "Unitized Power Package" with FWD. The lines are sleek but masculine. The engine runs, the transmission shifts, and most electrical components work. This is meant for someone that enjoys a project and isn't looking for a show car. There are flaws in the body (no big dents but a a few dimples from hail and scuffed paint). Rust is unknown (never explored under the paint from prior owner), but new floor pans were welded in for the front and rear floors. Carpet will need to be replaced, and there are tears in the seats and roof liner. Ignition system works, but fuel lines and fuel tank need to be replaced. Many new parts are included such as new fuel lines and new fuel tank to name a few. Lots of parts that can be used to revive her.

Vehicle Details

The 1967 Oldsmobile Toronado was the first front wheel drive car from an major American car company with the 37' Cord. The styling is timeless and what sold me from the get-go. This has a 425ci big block with a 4-barrel carb and 385hp from the factory and an automatic transmission.

Here's the good:

Strong running engine (when last run earlier in 2025)

Transmission shifts (when last driven earlier in 2025)

Lights work

Headlights (vacuum) actuators have been replaced with a reliable electric conversion kit

New tires, but have not been used since sitting

New floor pans on front and rear inside car

New fuel tank (included)

New fuel lines (included)

New Carter fuel pump (included)

New Mr. Gasket high temp thermostat (included)

What needs work:

Transmission oil pan recently replaced, but leaking elsewhere. Transmission work if fluid is present.

Extra carburetor in box was going to be rebuilt by "Sparky"-Toro carb expert (will include contact info)

Fuel lines have contaminants and fuel tank isn't stock-but new tank, lines and fuel pump are included.

Electric cooling fans not working-stock fan and fan clutch included

Paint has sun fade on top and has patina and scratches all over.

Small but consistent hail dimples on hood.

Stock steering wheel is broken (but included). Temporary aftermarket steering wheel in car.

Power steering works at higher speeds but not as much as lower speeds

Brakes work but need work (brake booster rebuilt but drums might need adjustment).

Interior is stock and complete but tears on seats and liner. (rear sail panel lenses included).

Most cost comes from new parts included.
