***Price reduced to sell for exactly what I have into it.***True 1967 442 Black/Red convertible. Great project car! Numbers matching 400, original Black exterior/Red interior with buckets and auto shift floor console. Excellent investment opportunity, especially if you can do some of the work yourself.***This is a one time listing that ends Monday 10-14. I set up an appointment to have the new floor pans installed 11-4. I do not plan to relisted it after they've been installed. If you are seriously considering this 442. Please contact me before this lsiting ends, or before the end of October at the latest. Thank you.***Copy and Paste for walk around video with the car running. https://youtu.be/pDo5U-QSRs4?si=F4C0t-vfOo8-1KOyThis car is a project. While it does run great and drive, it is not currently road worthy. Missouri car, last on the road in 2003. Photos with moldings and interior removed were taken 9-7-24. Other photos were from May of this year. Why is it not road worthy? It needs the brake booster (reman booster included with sale) replaced and there is no power to the rear (no tail/brake lights or power top). Possibly a ground or rear harness issue.FYI original chrome air cleaner is included. It's not in the video because I removed it when I replaced the carb. It was easier to do adjustments with the small air cleaner on it.Frame is solid. Body needs to be stripped, but for the most part is solid. However, it will need Driver and Passenger floor pans installed (I have them and will include with the sale.). Previous owner riveted 2 front pieces in. I bought 2 full sections to have welded in. It will also need a 2 minor patches behind the rear seat and 1 in the trunk.I bought the car this past February with all the intentions of restoring it (which I will do if it doesn't sell in this listing). But I haven't had the chance to do much other than getting it running well, remove most of the interior and moldings.Thousands of $$ in new and used items purchased for the resto.New items I purchased for the resto that will be included with the sale..Front and rear seat upholstery from DistinctiveDash pad and glove box doorDoor and rear side trim panelsDriver seat foamDriver and passenger full floor pan sectionsConvert top bootTie rods and ball jointsBrake boosterBelts and hosesCap, rotor, points and condenserPlus several used parts such as..Fuse block and wiringTail lamp bezels and lensesMain items not included that I know it will need for resto..Convertible topCarpetWeatherstripsDriver seat bottom springsPossibly the floor wiring harness and/or rear wiring harnessMore photos can be taken for serious buyers. So why am I selling? My body and paint guy is not taking in anything until late March. By the time he's done and I put the new interior back in, I may miss next years cruise night season. So I thought I would test the waters and list it instead of having it sit in my garage until spring. This is an excellent car to restore! Especially considering the original color combo!! I've seen them sell between $67k and $72k. So, considering that and the work it needs, I feel my asking price is fair. But I'm willing to consider offers.I am happy to speak in great detail with any serious buyer. In fact I prefer to speak with anyone before making a deal. Please have all funds available before making this purchase. Transport is the responsibility of the buyer. I am near 2 major interstates for an easy pick up and happy to help load the car if necesary.**Deposit is not refundable. Bank cashier check or wire transfer for the balance. The car and title will not leave my possesion until all funds have cleared my bank.**
