For sale is a complete (fairlycomplete) 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 2 Door Coupe project. Lots of work has been done here: Not in any order and I may ramble on from time to time but here goes: These are hard to find now, many of these is the day were turned into stock cars and hit the race circuit due to the Rocket V-8 these came with, hence many of these early cars were damaged beyond repair. The body has been welded up, quarters, floors, rockers ect. Body sits in a 24 foot cargo trailer on a rolling stand see the first few pictures, front fenders and one door were sourced years ago rust free from Arizona, hood, truck lid, inner fenders and all the sheet metal including all the interior 5 stock steel wheelsand exterior parts along with the body was acid etched (dipped) then sent to Detroit for plating and returned. The engine (VIN Matching) and parts were rebuilt and balanced, see the pictures, block, heads, crank, rocker arms ect, see the pictures Includes new rebuilt parts, Pistons, Camshaft, Rings bearings water pump ect, gasket kit all the usual parts you would need for a complete rebuild. Many other new parts I forgot over the years the new carburetoris shown. What is not shown is a large box with all the exterior trim, dash parts, radio instrument cluster ect. and from what I can remember they are in amazing condition. The interior parts are there and basically junk (most not shown but you get the picture). The "X" frame was sent out to a frame shop and straightened, was painted with a rust inhibitorpaint.I have the original cast iron transmission not shown in the pictures. I have the original bumpers that would need to be re-chromed. If interested the 24 foot cargo trailer shown in the pictures will be for sale once the car is gone, trailer used very little includes a roof mounted solar panel with built in floor mount 10,000 winch, Battery wired up to a solar controller, with lights and alarm system. This could be discussed if a buyer was interested and not included in this listing. This is located in Hartland Wisconsin about 25 miles west of Milwaukee.
