1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Additional Info:

This is a real deal 442 has the 4v designation on the trim code. Car was restored and then sat in a barn for many years would make a good candidate for a drive while restoration project. Runs drives and stops while moving it around my lot. Starts up every time. Engine was rebuilt by a previous owner by famous engine builder Chat Wilson. Don't know much about the internals it appears to have a cam, Holley Proformer fuel injection, and runs strong (just touch the gas and it spins the rear wheels).Car will need to be gone through to make it road worthy. Also has a 3spd automatic transmission. I purchased the car with a ton of soot on it, cleaned it off with soap and water left some soot on the roof and just wiped some soot off the passenger side fender well to show the potential. Originally planned to do a full restoration on the car but then my replica gt40 arrived and I want to focus all my time on the GT40.
This car will be sold as is to the highest bidder, very low reserve. Sheet metal appears to be straight on the body, 99% of the car is present. This car came Fawn with a painted black roof from the factory. I even have the original rare stainless trim that separates the two-tone paint between the roof and the body, trim will need to be restored.
Metal seems solid on the body couple of pin holes around the rear glass, small rust patch above the wheel well trim pass. side, 2.5 " patch on the lower rear quarter. The lower quarters look pretty solid inside the trunk just showing some surface rust. Floor pans and frame look good with the exception of a 10X10" rust area on the pass. side floor pan. Trunk has a couple of patches needed but otherwise I think can be repaired for a drive quality car. Feel free to call with any questions 631 278 3262 Thank you for viewing my listing !
