You are looking at one of the cleanest 1987 Oldsmobile 442s on the planet! Only 4,208 were built and they are becoming highly collectible. This example has 17,874 miles on the odometer and looks like brand new inside, outside, under the hood, in the trunk, and even underneath! This car has a clean CarFax with almost no entries, which makes sense with the history and mileage.
The exterior is Burgundy Metallic with Gold pinstriping and Silver around the bottom. Color keyed rally wheels always look good, and this 4-4-2 is no exception. 442 decals are subtle, but can be seen from almost every angle to let people know this is not your ordinary Cutlass. The paint has just had a paint correction and ceramic coating to protect it for years to come.
The interior is a time capsule back to 87 and is all original. With bucket seats, a center console, sporty steering wheel, and loads of power options this Olds is as comfortable as it is fun to drive!
Under the hood sits the Oldsmobile 307 CID V8 with 255 lb ft of torque. It has a nice rumble through the original exhaust and plays nicely with a 200R4 automatic transmission and posi rear end.
Power steering, power brakes, A/C, AM/FM/Cassette, cloth interior, power windows, power locks, remote trunk popper, and radial tires round out the options list. This car is about as original as they mechanically too, with only some soft parts and fluids being replaced. The seller states that this car is original down to the brakes, spark plugs, hoses, belts, etc. He does have a lot of new parts to send with the car like plugs, wires, belts, and hoses. Those parts are all AC Delco to keep the car correct. A new AC Delco battery was just installed on 7/3/2023 as the original was only holding a charge for a day or two. This is a true survivor and is ready to be the star of a collection! It runs and drives fantastic and everything works except the factory power antenna, which is easily replaced.
