1984 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency Additional Info:

This 1984 Oldsmobile 98 Regency sedan was sold new by West Penn Chevrolet Oldsmobile of Leechburg, Pennsylvania. The 98 model was the top of the line in 1984 and the full size flagship for Oldsmobile.

The exterior is finished in Desert Sand Gray and features a full vinyl roof, fender mounted lighting indicators, as well as chrome bumpers and matching accents along each side.

The interior is upholstered in a plush burgundy velour with matching door panels and carpeting, and burl wood grain trim accents the dashboard. Amenities include a power-adjustable front split seat with a folding center armrest, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, air conditioning, a cassette stereo, and a remote trunk release.

The car is powered by a 5.0-liter (307 cubic inch) V8 paired with a four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Factory 15″ steel wheels are fitted with chrome wire-style hubcaps and wrapped in new whitewall striped tires all around. This was the last year of the full size Olds 98 that included fender skirts.

This car remained with the original owner until 2019, when it was donated to a well-known charity and sold at a charity auction. We obtained this exceptional vehicle at that auction. There is 126,000 miles on this meticulously well maintained Olds 98. According to the background from the owner,this vehicle was used for trips to Florida and upstate New York to visit family and was garage kept the entire time. The 126,000 miles appears to be primarily highway miles and the condition of the car shows that. This car shows very well and shows as good as low mileage Cadillacs of the same vintage that I have owned.

This car recently passed a required Pennsylvania safety inspection and is valid until December 2020.
