Rare opportunity to purchase the finest restored 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W30 on the planet! Complete numbers matching perfection! Awarded “Best Oldsmobile at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals receiving 998 out of 1,000 points. Deductions were only made for a cobweb and a speck of debris on the intake manifold. Won best in class at both the Louisville Concourse and the Oldsmobile Nationals. Received Gold Certification multiple times at the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals.
This car went through an 8 year restoration, and started out with a completely rust free vehicle. It was restored using N.O.S. parts, NO reproduction parts were used! NONE! Even the exhaust is N.O.S. Over $54,000 invested in original parts alone. The paint was matched to the original color with perfection using a color correcting light box. The interior was done by Legendary Interior using N.O.S. vinyl. 8 track player is new, and features an Oldsmobile demo tape still in the factory wrapped plastic. The floor mats are N.O.S. and in proper Sherwood Green. The fan belts feature the original part numbers on them (not service replacements) and I could go on and on. But rest assured, all parts on this car are original or new old stock.
It is the most correct, most original, most perfect 442 on the planet period. Only 718 miles since the restoration was completed. Documentation, pictures before, during and after restoration all come with the car. When it is not being judged at shows or having its picture taken, it is stored indoors at a temperature and humidity controlled facility. The engine oil and filter are changed annually no matter what. The premium gas is also exchanged at this time. I can guarantee you there are no disappointments with this one. The asking price is $145,000. No auction fees or premiums to pay with this private sale. Serious inquires only please. If you have any questions, feel free to ask and thank you for looking.
