455 Olds rebuilt engine & 350 Turbo Automatic
Hagerty's Valuation tool has a 1971 442 W30 priced at $36,700 in #4 fair condition to $51,900 in #3 good condition. We know this isn't a real 442 W30. But this is great opportunity to drive and get the looks of a 442 W30 car for only a fraction of the price. So, it's priced to sell!! Also please feel free to make an offer because this '71 Olds is available for sale locally. Please note that if you don't have a history of buying on eBay, we ask you to contact us first before bidding. We're looking for a real auction with real bidders.
Classic Olds paint color of Viking Blue with a nice metallic finish. Cowl tag shows it to be an original Viking Blue Olds with NO vinyl top. Nice red inner fender wells for that cool W30 look. Also has the ram air hood set up and spoiler. The body, frame, and undercarriage are very solid in our opinion. The '71 was painted several years ago, but still looks great! She takes a hell of a picture, and looks good in person too. There are some scratches and chips here and there since it was painted over a decade ago. But again, it's still a great driver quality cruiser to take anywhere. There's pics of every panel for you to personally inspect the '71 after this description. There's also a walk around video of this beauty after thisdescription
.Interior is a Blue bucket seat automatic on the floor console interior. A nice factory Olds sport wheel added. Needs some interior work. An aftermarket radio was added, but currently isn't working. Personally we don't listen to the radio when driving an Olds with a nice trumpeted dual exhaust!! There's a ton of pictures of the interior too after thisdescription
.The 455 was rebuilt out in Cali. The previous owner paid $10,000 to have it built out there to '71 W30 specs! It was rebuilt less than 3000 miles ago. It sounds good, and runs even better. The rear is an open rear that's only a low 3 rear. Even with that rear this 455 big block will light it up! The other bonus with that rear is that you can take it on the highway at 80mph with no problem. The exhaust was redone and has a nice throaty sound coming out of thetrumpeted tips.Great cruiser! The transmission is a 350 turbo was also rebuilt about the same time as the engine. The tranny shifts nicely with no problems.
Factory Olds wheels wrapped in nice Mastercraft Avenger GT Radials. They give this 442 W30 Tribute that nostalgic look, and are also great to burn a little rubber with like it's back in the day.
The headlights, taillights, turn signals, high beams, horn, wipers, speedometer, odometer, and dash lights all work. A/C is all there, but currently not fully operational working along with the heat. Even the clock will start to work, but gets caught up and stops. As stated before, the Olds was done several years ago and still maintains it's solid structure with a nice finish. Pictured is every body panel individually so you can see for yourself. In our opinion this is a very solid muscle car. Please review all pictures, videos, and ask for more if needed, and/or come and see this classic before bidding on this '71 Olds 442 455 W30 Tribute. There are some signs of age, but again it's a great pretty driver.
