1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Additional Info:

I have owned this car since 1977,over the following years it was repainted,top, carpets,trunk mat&tires replaced . engine had new rings,cam, crank bearings &valve job . new front and rear springs & shocks were installed. Front &rear bumpers were rechromed front seats redone. Car is only driven in summer and always stored inside. Nice Sunday driver. This is NOT a frame off restoratio, also it is NOT the original color . It is 1 of 1683 442 Convertibles with auto. trans. produced for 1965. Data plate is marked 11, built 3rd wk. Nov. 1964 . Eng. cst. #389298B . Build date code 1 (1964) 295 ( OCT.22) "A" on cyl. head also V001090 stamped on rt. cyl. head. Frame stamped 9780503 S . (442 convertible frame) Trans. Plate has NJ 65 053 on it. The radio is not original, but I have it (AM) only. I installed a posi. gear set . (10 bolt housing is original) Again this is an older restoration so there is age on replaced parts,paint,etc. It is in good condition for a 54 year old car.
