1969 Oldsmobile 442 -- Additional Info:

This 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 is in Nassau Blue Metallic with Black. It’s a shame so many enthusiasts overlook Oldsmobile when shopping for an A body investment. Big block Chevelles and aggressively styled GTO's seem to be the naturals when it comes to muscle car wish lists. This is a very well prepared 442 2 door post, 4 speed car. Engine Casting Numbers: Block: 396021F Heads: C Intake Manifold: 398662 This 442 is finished in its original color of Nassau Blue Metallic (paint code 53). It... has been in the same ownership since 2007. A 1970 455/365 HP engine is fitted with the correct C casting heads. A 4 speed manual transmission, 12 bolt 3.42 Positraction rear end, power steering, bench seat, Muncie close ration 4 speed, Hurst shifter and hood stripes. Excellent paint done in a modern urethane base/clear to a high standard. Silver hood stripes painted under the clear. Show-chromed front and rear bumpers. Polished brightwork shows well but with some scratches. Excellent glass and all windows operate smoothly. The body condition is very straight. No dents or dings. The trunk has been correctly splatter painted and the floor pans and frame are painted chassis black. This car fires up and settles into a loppey idle with a great sounding cam and deep exhaust note. It runs nicely on premium pump gas and has no mechanical issues. Transmission rebuilt. No smoke and dry underneath. Front disc brake conversion by Tom Garage in Monterey. Interior is very clean and presents nicely. Both front and rear seats, carpets, dash and headliner are all excellent. Carpet, OEM style sound deadener and headliner are newly installed. Wood steering wheel with correct Rallye Pack gauges and a dash with no warping or heat cracks. Color coded 15" steel wheels with basic "dog dish" hub caps look very clean and purposeful. Top end rebuilt by Automotive Specialist in Seaside, California in December 2010. Reseal transmission. New cams and lifters. New manifold and carburator. Total spent $5,157.00 New headers installed after these photos were taken. Old set in the trunk. This car offers a turn key example in desirable colors which can be enjoyed along with being a solid investment. All inspections welcome. We ship worldwide. Contact us at 831.373.3131 day or evening.
