Just in time for the National Oldsmobile show is this stunning, all-original 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham 2-door coupe with just 23,791 documented miles. The Olds maintains its original factory Pastel Beige (59L) paint, vinyl top, interior, and even the original GM factory exhaust! This coupe boasts an impressive list of over $4,300.00 of original factory upgrades for 1984, including the optional Olds 307 V8 engine, handling package, limited slip differential, power equipment, top-of-the-line radio/ cassette player, and many other options. The car includes documentation for all the above (window sticker, owner’s manuals, service records, etc.), as well as chasis service and electrical manuals and dealer brochures. Additionally, the car has a current valid state inspection and emissions sticker, even though it is exempt due to both its age and mileage.
In 1984, Oldsmobile produced 41,913 Royale Brougham 2-door coupes, as opposed to 89,450 4-doors, and an additional 17,064 LS 4-doors. As you can see, this one has an impressive list of options, as well as a stunning color combination.
This majestic cruiser is a pleasure to drive and a flawless example of a 1980’s luxury vehicle. It is in immaculate original condition, and everything works as it should. This highly optioned Olds is equipped with cruise control, tilt wheel, power seats/ windows/ mirrors/ and locks, power antenna, power trunk release, passenger lighted visor mirror, rubber trunk mat, full luggage compartment trim, functional GM CB Radio with antenna, and more. This car floats down the highway like the big-bodied cars of this era that you remember. It runs, drives, shifts, and stops like it did in 1984, and can be driven anywhere worry-free. The ice- cold air conditioning was retrofitted to 134a and will keep its happy new owner cool on long road trips or a short ride to the local car show.
The original paint looks like it was made for this car and impressively accentuates its sleek exterior and sharp body lines - it gleams in the light. The perfect stainless trim and sparkling chrome is in excellent condition. The original plush cloth interior is in immaculate condition as well, and free from any rips, tears, or stains, and still has the original GM color-matched floor mats. The new headliner is tight and clean, and the dash pad is perfect with zero damage or cracking. The original vinyl top is flawless and presents as new. The fully carpeted trunk is all original as well and looks as though it never held anything more than the original spare tire and jack that is currently still inside. The engine and engine bay is exceptionally clean, and all fluids look like new. All the rubber door and trunk seals are complete and pliable and in amazing condition as well.
This full-sized, comfortable Olds is rock-solid, and there is absolutely no rust, rot, or scale anywhere on the car. The underside of this car is as clean as the body. This car was pampered and well-cared for, and it shows everywhere you look.
If you have been looking for an original, low-mileage 1980’s full-sized Olds, you won’t be disappointed in this one-this car will be a show-winner. You will be amazed at the exceptional condition of this vintage automobile from top to bottom.
I have plenty of additional photos, and I welcome any pre-purchase inspection, and will accommodate Paypal purchases by adding 3% to the total of the final sale price. I am an Oldsmobile fan, and may be interested in trading for another full-sized, two-door Oldsmobile (or Buick) in similar condition.
If you want the car, place a bid. Thanks for looking!
