1962 Oldsmobile Starfire Unmolested running driving survivor Additional Info:

check out my ebay store to see more of my cars and trucks and classics!also check me out on the web teddy auto sales waukon iowa 52172I bought this 1962 Olds Starfire 2 dr from a estate sale where the previous owner had passed away. I was told he had owned the car since the late 70's (I have documentation that dates back to 1979) I brought the car to my dealership teddys auto sales in waukon iowa (look me up on the web) and had my guys tune it up, check the fluids etc. The c...ar fired right up and drove down the road really well for the fact it was sitting a while (i was told) before the previous owner passed away. The 394 cu in v8 engine runs great with no knocks misses or smoke. Really worth you finding the video I included as it is around 10 min of this car running driving etc. The trans shifts all of the gears nice. I had the car up to 55 mph area and it handled the way you would expect. Watch the video and see the cool features like the changing color speedometer. everything appears to be working power options wise, all of the guages are working as far as I can see. The rpm gauge in the center consol is working. Both radios function good and play great. The interior is complete. The interior is usable the way it is but if you would restore it, there was some wear ect, watch the video and pics to get a good idea of what it is. I am including two extr seats you can use for parts etc, Also included is a front bumper (extra), one thats on the car isnt bad but this one is cleaner. again, The way it is isnt bad but if you were to restore it you may want to address it. The body looks good for being a survivor. The rust I saw I pictured and videod really well. I was going to restore it but I though I would leave it unmolested and original so the new buyer can do it to the level they want. You can use it as a daily driver the way it is while you tinker with it and address the cosmetic stuff and /or the restoration. I have a ton of documents and books the previous owner had that go with the car. I do not want to overcall it or undercall it, let the video and pics tell the story. As everybody has their own opinion on what A classic unrestored survivor car should be, I recommend coming to inspect the car or hire ebay to do a independent inspection for you, (note this should be done before the auction ends and not after.) make sure to study the pics and video so you see what you are getting. I require a non refundable 200 dollar paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end, if I do not get the deposit within the time frame or before you come for the truck, I will assume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it. I can help recommend shippers i have used in the past who have been very reasonable. If you have any questions at all, call me 563-562-0330 or 563-562-0330! thanks
