1973 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Royale Additional Info:

1973 Oldsmobile 88 Royale sedan, 31,349 miles, Arizona car. Box “A” title. Parked in a central Arizona dry, clean garage since 1987 and not touched until I bought it from the original owners family in August, 2017. It has a 350 V8 engine, automatic transmission, power steering and power disc brakes, cold factory air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, tinted glass, light package, AM push button radio with rear speaker, whitewall tires and door edge guards. The exterior, interior and glass is all original. The interior looks new except for a small worn area on the drivers side carpet and 2 small holes on the drivers seat. (One hole is the size of a ball point pen tip, the other smaller than a pea, and near each other.) The door panels, padded dashboard and headliner look new. No cracks in the dashboard. There is NO fading of the interior. The trunk looks new. Car has the original spare tire and jack, original hoses and belts, except the alternator belt, and all of the the original exhaust system. All items and options function as designed. It starts instantly and runs smoothly, shifts perfectly and stops straight and quickly. I changed the oil and filter, changed the transmission filter and fluid, and replaced the heater core. The paint is glossy and has some scratches, a few door dings, and a couple scrapes on the right side as pictured. The glass is all spotless. There are NO PITS in any chrome. The a/c still was cool but I had the system checked and added 1.2 lbs of R12 and it is now cold. (It has a capacity of 4lbs of R12, so it was holding most of the charge.) I drove the car about 175 miles to be sure it ran well, most of the miles in 100+ degree heat. The tires have excellent tread but highly recommend they be replaced to safely drive the car. The tires all have slight flat spots from being parked for 30 years, and only 1was flat due to a leaking valve stem. Belts and hoses should also be replaced to drive regularly. The car does not leak fluids. I inspected the brakes and all 4 wheels have over 1/2 left on original pads and shoes with no leaks in wheel cylinders or calipers. Includes original owners manual, broadcast card, and 2 original keys. Car was purchased new in Phoenix and always in Arizona.
