1950 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Deluxe Additional Info:
This auction is for a 1950 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight two door Deluxe Hardtop.
The engine is a 1962 Oldsmobile 394 cubic inch with 9.5 compression pistons, an Edelbrock Carburatorwith Phenolic heat spacer, and Petronis Electronic ignition ending with dual exhaust.
The transmission is a turbo 400 built by Ross Racing Engins to fit a 394 Oldsmobile Engine.
The front & rear suspension is original type lever shocks. The brakes are drum brakes with power booster and dual master cylinder. It has power steering, electric wipers with a 12 volt system, 3" wide white wall radial tires with 1956 Deluxe Spinner Hub Caps. Inside the car is air conditioning. The car has a radio delete on the dash but under the seat is a hidden stereo that plays FM/AM as well as having an input for a flash drive to play MP3s. It is currently loaded with oldies music from the 40s - 60s.
The original VIN plate was missing and it now has a Kansas ID number that was obtained through a quiet title action.
The car drives nice and rides nice.
The transmission needs a switch for the kickdown for the turbo 400 and the horn does not work.
The car is black and the body and frame are straight.
The interior is original with carpet and front seat belts.
The odometer shows 25,378.
All chrome and stainless trim is excellent.
