Interesting details about the Rallye 350 Cars

Built on the Cutlass S 2 Door Hard Top chassis

The only engine offered for the Rallye 350 package was the L74 350-cu.in. V-8, rated at 310 horsepower with a single four-barrel carburetor. The 310hp engine had a 10.25:1 compression ratio and 390-lbs.ft. of torque at 3,200 rpm, using a single four-barrel 4MV Rochester Quadrajet carburetor.

The standard rear end in a Rallye 350 was an Oldsmobile-built 12-bolt unit (different than a Chevrolet 12-bolt)

The standard suspension in the Rallye 350 was the aforementioned FE2 "Rallye Sport Suspension" package

Standard braking for the Rallye 350 included manually operated drum brakes at all four corners

The only wheels offered on this model were the 14 x 7-inch version of the Super Stock II, painted Sebring Yellow and again, sans trim rings.

The only color available was Code 51: Sebring Yellow. However, cars with special order paint such as a Rallye 350 usually have (- -) where the code normally appears on the cowl tag.
