I obtained this car in 1974 and I have kept it pretty much as I found it. I love this car, but it's time to let it go.
This 1956 Oldsmobile is a Super 88 Holiday coupewith 140k miles and runs like a dream. The engine was rebuilt at 100k miles. The transmission was replaced shortly after and I still have the original, along with other spare parts.
This sale also includes the owner's manual, shop manual, sales brochure and a show room poster.
The interior is completely original. The seatshave beencovered in plastic since new and I have kept the seats under plastic to protect them. The carpet is frayed and worn, but is original. The dash, and headliner are perfect. All the accessories work. Even the clock (sometimes).
The valuation guides set the value between $16,500 to $49,400 depending on who you look at. This is a one-of-a-kind "survivor" and is prceless, but I'll settle for $25k.
