1984 Hurst Olds 442
This is a true HO 442, and one of the nicest G Bodies available. Of the 3500 HO, s built in 1984 this is Vin # 1G3AK4799EM452605. The HO sequence number is 2942 of 3500. The car was built February 22, 1984 and sold from Midvale OH.
The car was built by a gentleman from Butler Pa. The guy is well known for building fantastic cars. Absolutely nothing was over looked during the restoration. The body and paint are beautiful; the bottom of the car is just as nice. The interior is very nice and mostly original pieces other than the front seat covers and carpet. Door panels are original and very nice, with the exception of a couple very small imperfections in the driver side upper panel; I am including a new set of upper reproduction with the car.
The original drive line is long gone. It has been replaced with the best of the best parts available.....
The motor is a 40 over 436 cubic inch Dart Block, making an impressive 659 Horse power and 590 lbs. of torque. The compression is 11.1, Heads are 18* Brodix, HVH (high velocity head) Brodix intake. MSD ignition, System one oil filter, 4150 aluminum ultra XP Series Holley carb. 950 cmf. March Performance pulleys. Aerospace evac system, dual electric fans, Trans cooler.
The transmission is a Coan XLT turbo 350. Hughes 4500 stall convertor, and a perfectly working B&M shifter.
The rear end is a M9 fabrication, with a ford aluminum center section with 410 gears. The suspension is upgraded with QA1 Viking double adjustable shocks all around. Wilwood Brakes, TRZ adjustable tubular A arms, UMI Performance control arms, Borgenson steering box and much more. 10 point 9.90 cage with swing out bars.
Weld wheels, front are 15â€x3.5" with 165/80R15 Radials. Rear Weld 15â€x8" Double beed-loc with P275/60R15 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials.
EVERYTHING can be verified by receipts, dyno sheet and you can talk to the gentleman that built the car. This car came to me on a trade deal. It is truly an amazing car, needless to say the car is a very quick little street/strip car. There are no heating issues, no leaks, needs nothing !!!!
