Very original 1964 Olds Super 88, I'm the second owner outside the original owner family, from the documents that I have the car was passed from mother to daughter, The car was sold new at Weihl Oldsmobile in Marietta, Ohio, I have a copy of the original bill of sale, The warranty booklet with the protecto plate, The owners manual, a copy of the last Ohio title in 2002 showing 19814 actual miles, ins card and a Kelly Springfield tire purchase from 1974, The car had 14k miles, When i purchased the car ichecked the serial numbersand it still had two of the tires that were installed in 74,They were in good shape but just to old to drive safely, So I installed 4 new tires,This car must have been kept in a climate controlled garage, all the chrome and trim is original and in great condition, under the hood still has a few chalk marks and original tags, It had the original Packard spark plug wires that will go with the car, I replaced them and the spark plugs, The radiator was removed and sent for a cleaning, New brake hoses were installed front and back along with the rubber fuel hoses, The drums were removed and the brakes were checked and cleaned the brake fluid was flushed two m/c were rebuilt, it come with the rebuild kits for the rest all the hardware in the drums looks new, The original GM shocks were replace with new Gabriel shocks, The control arm bushing rubbers started to deteriorate are about 800 miles of driving, So i had the upper and lower control arm bushings replaced and a front end aliment was performed, The car drives fantastic smooth and quiet, all the equipment is in working order, The interior is a time capsule the dash looks great no cracks all the instruments are clear and in working order, The seats are perfect same for the door panels, still has the original carpet and floor mats, The headliner looks great also has a factory AM/FM radio with a single dash speaker, The trunk is in new condition also the original trunk mats is like new and the side board don't even have a scratch the original spare tire is there along with the jack all in fantastic condition, The paint looks very good for the age of the car, It still has most of the original paint it's a little thin in spots, and has small scratches that have been touched up and a few very small dings, There was some kind of paint repair done a long time ago to the back door and side, you can see were the paint was blended in under the right light, looks like they rubbed the garage door or something on the drivers side at the rear door to the quarter panel there's a small rub mark, All the weather strips are in great condition there are no water leaks to the trunk or the cabin, The engine is a 330HP 394 cubes Rocket with a 375 Hydromatic A/T and a 9 1/4 rear with 323 gears, It has power steering and power Brakes, The engine runs smooth and quite the trans shifts like butter, There are no leaks other than a very small rear main seal, All the glass is original and scratch free, All the lights, turn signal, and back up work, It still has all 4 T3 headlights, The car is clean underneath with no rust issues, I don't like surprises when i purchase a car so I tried to describe everything I know about this car, When I first saw this car I fell in love with how original and well preserved it was, Usually I have a couple of classic cars I enjoy them and move on to the next one so it's time to let this one go, I can only list 24 pics but I took a bunch of pictures or can take any you may need don't hesitate to ask Any question or to inspect the car contact me thanks.
