Car is extremely solid, good floors, rockers, etc. I have owned this car since 2004 and it has been an ongoing restoration/mild custom project since 2005. Car is fully disassembled currently. Have all parts, plus extra to finish. Every nut and bolt has been bagged and labeled and organized (not the pile of unknown bolts thrown in a box like most project cars), this is a very easy restoration to finish. Paint, chrome and stainless are still good, will shine up to nice driver quality. Includes full shop manual.
Front end has been completely rebuilt, all new bushings, etc. Has 2" dropped kingpins installed, have original stock height ones as well. Disc brake conversion installed last year with correct steel wheels for clearances. Also includes all of the original front drum brake assemblies.
The original 324 engine has been fully rebuilt, bored .030, new everything, heads fully rebuilt with hardened valve seats to run on regular unleaded. All machine work performed by Miller Machine, and assembled with help and guidance of the Tinker Shop of Rick McGarvey (as in, Ellison & McGarvey AA/GS Race Cars, Boston Strangler Funny Car fame. Will include factory 2bbl carb (rebuilt by hobbs) and intake. (dual 4 barrel setup not for sale, not mine and was only on for a photo) Transmission has also been fully rebuilt. Have all receipts for rebuild work.
Stock heater boxes have been removed and firewall is in process of being smoothed, have all stock parts and the firewall could easily be returned to stock to re-install if preferred. Have under dash AC/Heat unit.
I no longer have local storage for this car and have had to store it too far from home to continue working on it. As much as I don't want to see it go, would love to see it go to someone with the time and ability to finish it and put it back on the road. Wouldn't take much to reassemble and finish.
Looking to trade it for a running, reliable driver quality classic. Have a 50's DJ business and am looking for a good running driver quality car to help promote it with. 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931 Ford Model A, 49-51 Mercury/Ford (4 door OK) or Late 50's early to mid 60's Cadillac, Buick, Olds, Chevy etc. Send an honest description and pictures of what you have.
Buyer is responsible for local pick up of vehicle and all included parts.
