Here in this auction we have a beautiful original Real 1969 442. This car has never been neglected. It runs and drives great. There are NO noises, NO shakes, NO rattles, just a nice smooth ride. I wish I didn't have to sel it. Its a numbers matching car. The motor was rebuilt at 35,000 miles on the clock. It has almost 58,000 on it now, and runs beautiful. The transmission was also rebuilt and shifts like it did from day one. The motor is the numbers matching 400. The only thing not original is the intake manifold and valve covers. I do have the valve covers but not the manifold. Everything in this car works. All the lights work the way they should. Brake lights and blinkers all work. The horn works, the wipers work, the heat works, trunk light works, gauges all work, even the original radio is still in place and works and sounds great. As for the rest of the inside, The carpet is newer. It was a little sun faded so I replaced it. The seats are all original. They are in great shape. The dash is perfect. No cracks and all original. The drivers door panel is the only thing that's need to be replaced. I have 2 brand new ones that go with the car. Just need to swap them out otherwise interior is in great shape. Now for the body, it is in nice shape. It was painted 2 years ago but still looks great. There are some small blemishes here and there and a few little scratches but no damage anywhere. As for the floors they are perfect. All original, NO patches. The trunk is perfect, NO patches. The frame(chassis) has NO rust, NO rot, NO past repairs. This was well taken care of over the years BUT this is a car that is used and enjoyed on the weekends. What's the point of owning it and letting it collect dust in the garage. USE IT!!! As you can see in the pics the car looks beautiful and shines nicely. I would NOT classify the paint as being show paint but It looks good. Not perfect but clean and shines. Turns heads everywhere it goes. Once you drive this car you will never want another one. It such a nice drive!! I hate to see it go. I know I will never find another one this nice and so original. This car needs nothing!! Get in and drive it away. Anywhere, anytime, you will have no problems. The tires are all in good shape. The brakes are all good. Power disk up front. New bake booster and new master cylinder were just replaced. The suspension is also in great shape. This car needs nothing!!eBay cost a lot of money so lets not waste anyone's time. Please only bid on the car if you are a serious buyer. If NOT, don't bother. I also recommend people to come look at the car in person. If you can't do it in person, there are companies out there that do inspections and are very affordable. Please use them, this way there are NO problems after you buy the car.
