1966 Oldsmobile Starfire Additional Info:
NO RESERVE AUCTION - PLEASE no bidding unless you plan to make the purchase! This is a very nice 1966 Oldsmobile Starfire... the last year the car was made. They made a little over 13 thousand of these. I have put a lot of time and money into this car as I'm a big Oldsmobile fan. Unfortunately, I bought another car and weighed my options and plan on building the other as opposed to finishing this one. I've attached most of the receipts that I could find that reflect what was done and the cost - except for the engine rebuild. The part of the receipt you can see only shows a portion of the work performed as I wanted the overall cost to be seen. The car has had the following things redone within the last 2 years.
Complete Olds 425 engine rebuilt - 3,500 miles since rebuilt
Mufflers along with crossover and tailpipes
Shocks
Springs/swaybar
windows removed and rust repaired
Complete brake rebuild - Everything
I'm sure I'm forgetting some things but that's how it goes. All the interior is there except for the carpet as it was pulled to begin with the new. All gauges are present and most work except for the gas and clock work sometimes which leads me to believe there is a short or something. Blinkers don't work but I have a NOS cam, gear and switch in the box. Doors shut very nice. Electric antannea works, electric trunk release works too. Factory tach on floor works also. The steering is exceptionally tight with no play, pull, wobble, walk or anything. The car drives superb. Please feel free to ask any questions that you might have as I know I'm forgetting some things as trying to detail everything can be somewhat overwhelming. I'll have interior pics up as soon as I'm able too. Until then, feel free to text me with any questions or pic requests. Patrick 208-392-3667
I knew I'd forget something. there is a silver dollar sized rust spot behind the passenger rear wheel. You can see it in the blown up pics. If you'd like another pic, please let me know. In addition, there is a couple of bubble spots behind the passenger front tire. Thanks and you will not be disappointed.
One more thing.. Radiator was also replaced with a new and not used.
I reserve the right to pull the ad as the car is also for sale locally.
